HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY?

Coaching and therapy are complementary services that both serve their own purpose and also have overlapping benefits. While therapy is generally known for supporting someone through traumas and past events, therapists experience a greater depth in cognitive and behavioural understanding in their extensive training. It's important to recognize that coaches are not equipped to explore trauma and it's a best practice for a coach to know when to refer a client to therapy. Coaching is known for supporting clients in creating a new way of Being to move forward in areas where old patterns and behaviours seem stuck and are preventing the client from fully experiencing life.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

In order to create lasting change and dive deep into your way of being, I ask for a 6 month commitment from my coaching clients. This includes 4, one hour coaching sessions per month, as well as ongoing support as you create life on your terms.

WHERE DO WE MEET?

Our coaching calls are mostly done over the phone or Zoom. I'm based in Victoria, BC and can arrange to meet in person if you prefer.
